Advent and Christmas
at All Saints
Advent
This is a season of preparation—where we focus both on the need for Christ to come as he did the first time, as well as hope that he will return to fully complete that renewing work he began.
In addition to our normal Sunday services, please join us for any or all of these special seasonal traditions.
Living Nativity
Sunday, December 13, 5:30-7:30pm
Enter into the story with us as we turn our front yard into the stable from that first Christmas night. With live animals, Christmas caroling, and more, join us for all the warmth and joy that Christmas brings!
This evening is designed for families with children of all ages and for the young at heart.
Lessons & Carols
Wednesday, December 16, 7:00pm
This special service gives our choir the opportunity to turn our hearts to God in expectation, hope, and love. Join us to trace God's response to the brokenness in the world adorned with the beauty of music led by our choir.
This evening is ideal for those who enjoy the beauty of music.
Mass of Healing & Hope
Saturday, December 19, 10:00am
For some the holidays highlight brokenness. This service gives us an opportunity to bring that our grief and pain before the Lord and/or to come with compassion alongside those who are hurting.
Bring your own griefs or invite someone who could use a helping hand to this meaningful service.
Christmas
In this season, we celebrate that God has not left us alone in the disorder that sin has wrought on our world. In Christ, He is “God with us” and that has changed everything!
Christmas Eve
Thursday, December 24
5:00pm - Family Eucharist
This full Eucharistic service will be family friendly and a great place to bring children and friends before they tuck in for their "long winter's nap" that evening.
11:00pm - Solemn Eucharist
Don't let the word "solemn" fool you; this high mass is serious without stuffiness, solemn without stodginess. Come celebrate this Holy Night alongside our church family with beauty, affection, and joy!
Christmas Day
Friday, December 25
10:00am - Holy Eucharist
Let the true reason for this day shape your celebration of it as you join us to give thanks for God's presence with us in Christ.
The Major Feast of the Epiphany
Wednesday, January 6, 7:00pm
This Holy Eucharist service brings Christmas to a close. As the wise men from afar finally reach the Christ child to worship him, Christmas leads us unto the dawning of God's light not only for us, but for the whole world.
